I was recently tagged by Hamlette’s Soliloquoy to fill out this Famous People Survey, and I love surveys! This survey was originally created by Naomi @ Wonderland Creek.
The Rules:
-Put up the ‘famous people tag button’ and link back to the person who tagged you
-Answer the questions
-Tag the ten last people who commented on your blog (excluding anonymytes or the person who tagged you)
- Who’s your favorite singer/group?
I’m going to be one of those people and say I don’t really have a favorite singer or band. Switchfoot used to be my favorite in high school, and I still love them, but I just haven’t kept up with their newer albums. And my favorite songs change all the time as well. - If your favorite male actor was in the same room as you right now, what would your reaction be?
I would blush profusely and probably stutter A LOT. - Is there a famous person you used to love but (due to something they have done in their life) you’ve suddenly changed your mind?
Yeah. Johnny Depp used to be my favorite actor, but I’ve started liking him less and less. - Name a famous person you like whose name starts with a V.
Vincent Cassel. He played the Beast in the recent French live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. I loved that movie by the way. - What’s one of your favorite red-carpet dresses?
Sandra Bullock is so beautiful, and I love her classic look here. - Who’s your favorite Royal person?
Do they have to be living? Because my favorite monarch is Queen Victoria. - Who’s your favorite child actor/actress?
I always thought Thomas Brodie-Sangster was adorable in Love Actually & Nanny McPhee :) - Is there an actor/actress you actually like their private lives of? (Not sure if that last question was properly phrased.)
There are several: Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hiddleston, John Krasinski & Emily Blunt, to name a few. - Do you think that the actors/actresses have improved these last 100 years?
I think they act differently, and maybe they’ve improved in some ways, but that doesn’t mean actors in the early days of film were bad (definitely not). - What’s the weirdest famous-people name?
I know there are plenty…but I’m totally blanking right now =P - Do you think you look like a famous person? Which one(s)?
I’ve been told I look like Donna (Laura Prepon) from That 70s Show - Share your favorite famous-person quote.
My favorite poem is “Ode On a Grecian Urn” by John Keats, and this is my favorite line. It has always resonated deeply within me. But another famous person quote that inspires me is this one by Walt Disney: - Who’s your favorite dancer?
I can’t really answer this question…I’m not familiar with very many dancers =/ - Why is your favorite actress your favorite one? When did you decide that she was your favorite?
Emily Blunt is my favorite actress, and I think she became my favorite after I saw her in The Young Victoria. I also love The Jane Austen Book Club and The Devil Wears Prada. Plus, I - Have you ever met/seen/been close to a famous person?
Yes, I met Jon Foreman before a Switchfoot concert :)
And now I tag the last 10 people who commented on my blog to fill out this survey for yourselves! No pressure, only if you want to of course :)

This is such a fun tag! I’m such a fangirl for my fave celebrities, so I can’t wait to do this! And I love the idea you had of picking the last commenters to tag – definitely makes it easy to pick names. :) I remember seeing the trailer for the French Beauty and the Beast film and really wanting to see it, and then I forgot – so thank you for reminding me! I haven’t heard that it’s available in the US though – I have to look into that.
Oops, now that I started doing my own post, I saw that the idea of picking commenters was in the rules! :)
No worries! I think it’s a great idea too since you don’t have to randomly pick people.
Yay! I can’t wait to read yours :)
I LOVED the new Beauty and the Beast! The only problem is that they don’t sell it here in the States and they don’t even have an official English dubbed/subtitled version. My husband downloaded subtitles so we could watch it with my mom, but it’s funny because I first watched it on an AirFrance flight and it was subtitled then :/
Ack, you met Jon Foreman! I’m still waiting for that day to come. And you SERIOUSLY need to catch up on the albums you haven’t gotten yet. Such good stuff.
I know! I’ve listened to some of their new songs periodically, but never a full album. I’m an awful fan ;)
My almost-3-year-old insists that Sandra Bullock is wearing “a mermaid dress” in that picture :-) And she wants one just like it.
I loved Thomas Brodie-Sangster in Love Actually. The storyline with him and Liam Neeson is probably my favorite. I do love that movie, and wish I could figure out a way to un-dirty it a bit. Then I would own it. As it is, I just get it from the library every few years and watch it when the kids are safely asleep.
Glad you had fun doing the tag!
Oh, and is The Jane Austen Book Club a fun movie, then? I read the book and thought it was just okay, so haven’t watched the movie.
It is a movie! I’ve only seen the movie but I would like to read the book too. I love the movie, it has my favorite actress (Emily Blunt) and one of my favorite actors (Hugh Dancy).
I want a dress like that too!
I would love that movie even more if they took out the dirty parts. My favorite story line is with Colin Firth :) but I also like Hugh Grant’s story, minus Billy Bob Thornton.
I think the library has The Jane Austen Book Club, so I’ll have to put it on my “request these some time” list.
I remember when they announced the cast for The Hobbit, and I was like, “Martin Freeman! He’s in Love Actually! In the parts I can’t watch much of, but he’s so sweet in the bits I can! He’ll be a perfect Bilbo.” Stupid movie, why DOES it have to be so dirty and so adorable? Grr.
The Keira Knightley storyline makes me cry, and so does the Emma Thompson. Sigh.
Oh I know. Both of their story lines make me sad too :( the scene where Emma and Hugh’s characters run into each other at the school play has always been one of my favorites. So touching.
