I didn’t get to do last week’s Top Ten Tuesday, so I’m doing it today in lieu of this week’s topic (favorite fairy-tales & fairy-tale retellings). This topic is all about book nerd characters.
As always, this meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
Top Ten Fellow Bookworms

Mara Dyer – Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin

Who are some of your favorite bookworm characters?
Definitely yes to Elizabeth Bennet. She’s my spirit animal.
“You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.”
-Darcy
Is probably my favorite line out of the whole entire damn book. *swoon*
There are so many good lines in that book, mostly from Darcy! :)
I love that picture of Catherine Morland! That’s just how I like to read…out in the meadow, with my gown billowing out around me on the grass. :-) Jane Eyre is one of my favorite bookworms! I am having a really hard time leaving it off of the reading list for my eleventh graders this year. (I would feel really bad about including such blatant chic-lit for the guys to have to read.)
Love this list! I never got round to doing my own but quite a few of the ones I thought up were the same as these. I bet Hermione’s on most people’s lists :P And Jane Austen’s great for bookwormy characters!
I’m sure Hermione is on just about everyone’s list :)
I love how many pictures you were able to get of the characters reading! And I agree with all these that I have read that they are great bookworm characters!
Me too! Those are some of my favorite book-to-film adaptations too :)
